Definition of a goal:
- A dream
- Attainable
- Measurable
- Has a time limit
- Within your control
- In writing
To be both useful and motivating, the goals you set must have some important characteristics:
- Goals should be self-chosen.
- Goals should be moderately challenging.
- Goals should be realistic.
- Goals should be measurable.
- Goals should be specific.
- Goals should be finite.
- Goals should be positive.
To setting your goals, you must state each goals as a positive statement and be precise. Putting in dates, time and amounts so that you can measure achievement. Next, set priorities and give more attention to the most important ones. If you write down your goals, this will crystallizes and give a force to achieve the goals.
We also have to give a try and not easily give up to something that we want the most. Your hard work will be paid. Last, it's important to remember that failing to meet goals does not matter much, just as long as you learn from experience.
